Raiden dropped to all fours again as the gallade jumped in to finish the excadrill. He watched the fight with impassive golden eyes, and when the gallade turned to him he began to turn to walk away, his muzzle already opened to speak. His head whipped around as rge raltz began to sing. False drowsiness began to drag at his paws. Sing? Hypnosis? There were a lot of moves she could have been using, but the effect was the same. Raiden struggled to move away, but eventually fell from the imposed exhaustion. He fell asleep, unable to avoid or prevent the effects, helpless now in the grass.
Cloud could feel the sudden drowsiness as well. Probably a Hypnosis attack or something, since he too once knew it when he was a Ralts. Putting up a Protect in a last-ditch effort to resist when the Luxray fell to the ground, asleep, Cloud too eventually succumbed to the drowsiness when his protect wore off. Falling to the ground, Cloud tried to lift himself back up to his feet only to soon fall asleep and land back on the grass with a thud.
Fairey blushed. She had put two fully evolved pokemon to sleep. She wrote on a slpi of paper. Sorry for the sleep... here is the remains of my picnic.... enjoy! ~Fairey. she wrote. She grabbed all the food in her basket, put it in various plates, picked up her basket, clapped her hands, and dissapeared into the forest.
Raiden awoke at the clap, pushing himself back on his feet with a soft growl, sparks lighting in his fur. Calming himself, the sparka faded and he glanced around, briefly reading the note left. Shaking the dirt off his coat, he gazed at the food and finally strode over, crouching in front of some berries and an apple to eat, frequently glancing up to watch the gallade. The raltz had sparked his mistrust, and now that she had vanished his wariness had turned onto the gallade. A raltz and a gallade. Both were from the same evolution line. But his wariness was mild, the gallade too had been put to sleep.
Cloud leapt up at the clap, holding his head for a moment. Did he really just fall for the same trick again? Note to self- Next time train a bit more when it comes to status problems. Brushing some dirt off of his arms. He glanced at the Luxray once. Seemed like both of them had fallen asleep. But the Gallade had already had something to eat earlier, so he decided to let the electric pokemon have the food. With a quick huff, Cloud glaced off into the forest, not seeing the Ralts anywhere. " Well... That happened. "
Raiden finished eating, licking his chops and sitting down and then lying down on his forepaws in the grass. The gallade seemed equally irritated at having been put to sleep, but he had no better luck it seemed in spotting the raltz. Resting his head on his paws, Raiden lay in the grass, actually relaxing for once. He rarely seemed to do that sort of thing, and it had quite a calming affect to just lie there and soak up the sun. Everything just sort of loosened up in him, and the normally cold and fierce pokemon was at ease. When was the last time he had had the chance to just lay in the sun? He couldn't remember. His golden gaze flickered to the gallade again, the fierceness and coldness in his gaze softened.
