The plan was simple. All she needed to do was find some kind of shiny stone or crystal and bring it to him. Then everyone would be happy and life would be normal again. After all, Father was as much as a sucker for shiny objects as she was. There was no doubt about it that the picked up the trait from him. Of course, she had thought about other...plans...involving banks and money and such, but quickly decided against it. It just didn't seem worth all the work involved. Of course she had seen him get frustrated plenty of times...but never at her. She was his baby, his little sweetheart. To think that such a bond could truly be broken was rubbish. No, this was going to be a simple problem to fix. Now...where to start?
Adola hopped up onto a rock, the cold mountain air flowing past sending a chill down her spine. She had heard some stories about evolution stones being found around here. They were pretty and colorful enough to do the trick. And, if her dad really didn't care for the gift, then he could probably pass it on to one of his men. After scanning the horizon of the bulking mountains, Adola spotted a small cave that looked promising and started heading towards it.
It was a nice day to go for a scenic hike, or some other such similar nonsense. To be honest, he had absolutely no reason to be out here. The Caverns had been nice, but he supposed adventuring traffick had driven him out. So was he searching for a new place to be alone in peace? Maybe that was it. He wasn't really too sure though. Perhaps it was a just cause thing. A gut feeling or urge. Perhaps he was just losing it. Who cared though? A movement and flash of bright colors caught his eye. He turned and noticed a pokemon a little ways away and down. He coudln't tell what it was though or its type, just that it was definitly another pokemon. Might as well see who it was. Hane half skidded half flew down the slope until he stumbled out in front of the other pokemon, flapping his flightless wings to balance himself. "Ah, sorry about that . . . " He called, turning to the stranger as he spoke. He paused. An Archen?
((ooc: Woops! I didn't know there was already an Archen on this site. Oh, man. Now I feel totally uncool. X0 Ah, well. ))
Eyes set on the prize, she was moving as quickly as her little avian feet would take her. Just as she was halfway to the cave another pokemon jumped out in front of her, causing her to quickly stop. "Hey! Watch were you're going!" Adola snapped as she ruffled up her feathers. "I could've ran into you and gotten hurt." Blinking a few times as she looked at the other pokemon, she then let out a small gasp; That large, chiseled beak. The elongated tail. It was another Archen.
"Woah! Another Archen? I thought our species was...urh...pretty much extinct." It was true, her dad and her were the only one from the Archen-Archeops evolutionary line that she had ever even glanced at. Cocking her head, Adola lifted one of his wings up, examining the vivid plumage. This couldn't be possible.
"Maybe he's a Ditto..."She murmured to herself, words barely audible. That made sense. There was no doubt that a ditto could of spotted her hanging around and decided to morph. "Of course!"
