Name: Ronan
Species: Eevee
Special Markings: A scar on the bridge of his nose, an x-shaped scar on his flank, part of his ear is missing, and he has an Everstone on a necklace around his neck. He's quite happy being an Eevee, thank you very much!
Personality: A bit of a loner, Ronan never feels right unless he's on the move. He never settles in one place for very long. There's no real reason for it; he's not being hunted as far as he knows, and he's not paranoid enough to think someone is always watching. He just likes the idea of being a wanderer.
And for good reason too! He's made both friends and enemies on every inch of Lunar Island. Ronan is a bit like his own rescue team; when he finds a pokemon in trouble, he stops to help them and even escort them to somewhere safe. The life of a wanderer has taught him to enjoy the little things in life, but to also trust his instincts.
One day he's going to get into real trouble though. He has a smart mouth that doesn't know when to stop sassing, and he gets into more fights simply from the inability to stand down. Not that he doesn't have reason to be cocky; Ronan, despite his small size, can pack a serious hypothetical punch!
History: His parents were both Eeveelutions. His father was a Flareon, and his mother, an Umbreon. Both were retired Rescuers, and Ronan grew up on stories of their adventures. They astounded him, and inspired him to be brave and selfless just like them.
At first he tried to join rescue teams. Multiple ones, as a matter of fact. But there was always something that felt off about it. Either he had issues with personalities or their teamwork didn't mesh or they pestered him to evolve. Ronan was proud to be an Eevee though, and refused any and all offers of stones. He even got himself an Everstone, which he wears around his neck.
Eventually, he just decided, "To heck with rescue teams, I'll work on my own!" And that's what he's been doing. It's worked far more in his favor. He's actually rather convinced he's something of a legend. Bad guys whisper in fearful tones of that one Eevee that fought like a legendary, and mothers and fathers tell their young children of tales of heroism and selflessness that they can only be just that; tales.
He's fine with that, though. It makes it just that much better when he sees their faces when they realize the stories are true.
