When she was younger, Etude was a member of a member of a rescue team that gained fame in their day. Now you’re thinking to yourself, “hey, my old character used to be an adventurer too, before they took an arrow in the knee!”. Great! I’m looking for characters that want to have been once-proud members of this once-famous team but have since moved on.

*gasp* This sounds pretty neat. Possibly Isadore had once been apart of Etude's rescue team, he wouldn't have been there full time but he did spare some time for the gang, just enough to gain their upmost trust and liking to their company. He could've been quite young maybe a riolu at that time. Since his main occupation was to train at the Jagged Castle, he might've just ran into Etude thinking she was a common trespasser. He was quite awkward with rescuers at that time, practically skeptical of them. Though had come to idolize Etude later in time. Since their personality is somewhat similar, maybe she's the main source as to why he's gained such a great appeal to his peers as well as his riotous approach. [time-jump] Definitely a lucario at this period of time. Somehow he got into an unspeakable situation during his occupation and was thrown to prison for some time. There he finds Etude, possibly his decent friend or vile enemy. All in all, they could become respected rivals or friend turned enemy once he escapes.

We should do that for certain, what a good idea. Etude would most likely view him later as an enemy but a worthy adversary.
