So she was alive, just a little waterlogged. Maybe it wasn't his best idea ever, but he could still salvage it. "Hey do you want to go for a ride?" He asked softly. If she didn't want to go then he wouldn't force her, but he thought that maybe it would be fun. It could get her mind off of almost dying. Swimming always got his mind onto almost dying, so maybe it worked the opposite way for people without a fear of drowning.
Pluto was surprised for a second. She fell asleep really fast. Finally Pluto shrugged and lay down beside her. He had almost been asleep before so he didn't mind sleeping now. He also didn't want to just leave her alone now. So he lay down and closed his eyes. Maybe they'd talk later when they woke up.
When Pluto opened his eyes it was darker out. He didn't think the day was over yet, but it was definitely darker Pluto stood up and stretched out. He sneezed out a string of bubbles then shook his head. After a few moments of looking around Pluto realized that Chiki was actually gone. Pluto wondered if she was going to come back or if she had just left. Pluto shrugged and sat down at the edge of the water where he began shooting an ice beam and freezing the surface.
Pluto looked back when his fin alerted hi that somebody was behind him. He was delighted to see Chiki. He smiled at her. Then she dumped some berries in front of him. "Oh cool." Pluto said as he looked through the different types she had gotten. He quickly picked out two and then mashed them together. Pluto smiled and held the sticky mess out to her. "It might look gross, but you should try it." He said. The two berries combined to make a sweet flavour that was better than one of the berries alone. Pluto really liked it and if Chiki liked sweet things then she'd probably like it too, he hoped.
Pluto smiled proudly. "Thanks. I'm a chef in town so I hope it's good. Of course when usually serve it the presentation is a little better." Pluto laughed. He was glad that Chiki liked it. He hadn't failed in that aspect. Pluto took a normal berry from the pile she had collected and began to eat it. He looked out at the water and how the sun was close to setting. His day hadn't been too bad. Pluto hoped the same was true for Chiki.
(^^ sorry for the late reply!) "Really? You're a chef?" Chiki said in awe . She started to eat a berry like Pluto. Chiki looked out at the setting sun. She looked at pluto. She blushed.
Pluto took another bite of the berry and then nodded. He swallowed what he had bitten off. "Yeah, I run a little shack. One day I hope to have some big restaurant on the main land. Be famous for my food and stuff." Pluto smiled and then looked at Chiki. He noticed her blush and quickly looked ahead. Pluto felt himself blush a little. Why is she blushing? He thought. What if she was having an allergic reaction to the berries and she was just getting a rash. Do pokemon even have allergic reactions? Pluto didn't know. He continued staring at the sunrise.
She looked at Pluto. He runned a little shack? Maybe... no.. she couldn't ask. She opened her mouth, but then she closed it again. She turned away, blushing in embarassment.
Pluto thought for a second. Trying to clear his head of the thought of blushing. "So what do you do? Or what do you want to do? Since it's your first day alone you probably don't have a job yet." Pluto blushed at his blundering and then smiled at Chiki. "If you don't have one I'm sure you'll find one soon since you're such a nice pokemon. You'd be great with costumers." Pluto told her.
Chiki looked at Pluto, still blushing. "A-actually, Pluto, I've grown to really like you, so can I help you run your shack?" Chiki said face flushing red.
(I think it's safe to say that chiki has feelings for pluto. But she wonders if he'll feel the same?)
