[ I have thought of a way for Ava to be a hero, for just once in her life. ]
The Liepard was about to answer, when the Chikorita began wondering in the direction of the river. Ava shrugged it off, and just followed the Chikorita, either way she was an adviser of the situation. She was only a bit behind Chiki, when she heard the Chikorita yell.
Ava began to bound towards the back, skidding to a stop when she saw the pokemon nearly falling into the waters. She felt her heart skip a beat, but she knew that she could get the pokemon not to fall in. With that, Ava used her tail, trying to wrap it around Chiki to stop her from falling.
Ava was pleased to feel her tail wrap around Chiki. She couldn't let the Chikorita get hurt, or even worst die, since Chiki could be useful if Ava was to get caught. This pokemon was nice, and probably wouldn't believe Ava had stolen, as long as she could lie.
"Don't mention it," Ava said coolly. There was no need for her to act like the hero. Ava didn't want to draw too much attention, it never helped in thievery.
Ava thought for a moment, she wasn't sure where to go next. During a small amount of time, her mind raked for an answer, until she decided on the next location. "Lets go to the Big Oak next. It shouldn't be too far." Ava suggested, walking off in that direction.
She wanted to avoid town for the time being, it was early morning when she had stolen the apple. Ava wanted time, time for them top forget her face and see her as another Liepard on the streets.
With the agreement, Ava turned to wards the direction of the Big Oak. It was further in the forest, but it wasn't much of a bother of course.
That was when Chiki mentioned town, and why they didn't head there. Ava wouldn't tell the truth of course, and for her she could easily think up a lie. "'Cause town is boring." Ava answered simply.
The Liepard thought the answer was perfect, and wouldn't bring up much question. So she continued, her paws gentle moving across the forest floor.
